What is engineered wood flooring
It basically consists of three layers, the thickness of the top layer of solid wood is 2mm to 6mm. Glue on the plywood sheet, they extend in different directions. Compared with solid wood, this makes hardwood more stable.

Can you float or stick to the engineering floor
There are two different ways of how the floors fit together. First, it has tongue and groove edges that can be secretly nailed to the wooden floor. Or, if placed on a concrete base, it can be glued. Second, we sell a large number of easy-to-install snap-on systems that can be installed as floating floors, making installation faster and easier

The multi-layer boards are glued and hot pressed together to form a core with a hardwood layer (thin board), and to the upper surface of the core at the same time to form a wooden board. The core part is made of a multilayer plywood type material, so it is ideal that these layers alternately extend in opposite directions, so that the core material has higher strength and higher stability than solid wood flooring. This makes the engineered iron core hardly susceptible to expansion or contraction caused by humidity.

The top end (called the thin layer) is made of solid wood, and the thickness ranges from 2.5mm to 6mm depending on the price and type of wood flooring you buy. The thicker the sheet, the more times it can be sanded and repaired. Wood floors are available in various wood types, colors, board surfaces and decorative surfaces, which can be suitable for any home and style. You can choose some types of wood, such as oak and walnut.

The flakes can be seen after the floor is installed, and the core part is what makes the floor strong and stable. The warranty period for this wood floor is ten to thirty years.
